Your children often ask me, "Why did you make this choice?
"Did you not seek your Father? Did you not hear His Voice? "His will would not have led you through this painful trial you bear... "If you had only trusted Him, He lifts every care. The choices that I made, dear Lord, have brought about my tears. I understand, now, why I've been in the desert all these years. I thank You for the sleepless nights, the many tears I've cried. I thank You for the cross You bore -- I thank You that You died! My Father, I am so ashamed for all the things I've done ... I brought dishonor to Your Name -- I sacrified Your Son! There is no gift that I can give that ever can repay, And so I give what You gave me -- Here is my life today. I thank You for Your mercy! You cleansed me of my sin! I praise You, Loving Savior -- my life can start again ... |
